Prior Information Notice: PSGW00489 | Training Courses for Unit Welfare Officers and Welfare Office Staff | Headquarters Army Welfare Service

Knowledgepool is looking to appoint a provider to develop and deliver training courses for Unit Welfare Officers and Welfare Office staff to our client the Ministry of Defence (Headquarters Army Welfare Service).

The courses aim to:

• Provide information and training on the welfare needs of Service Personnel and their families to give guidance on welfare issues and to enable welfare staff to signpost to appropriate agencies outside of first line welfare provision.

• Cover a range of subjects from “understanding and developing listening skills” delivered by counsellors, to presentations from supporting agencies, which help deliver secondary and aftercare support.

• Give an insight into the range of welfare issues that the Unit Welfare Staff may deal with and introduce some of the second and third line agencies who may be called upon for support.

This Prior Information Notice is to alert interested Bidders of the opportunity. We welcome responses from suitably qualified and experienced Bidders. Bidders will only receive access to the Tender documents after they have been published and no further information or notification will be available until then unless Bidders are advised otherwise.

We anticipate that the RFQ documents will be available on 30th May 2018 and Bidders will be notified when these have been released.
